The Journal of Social Science Perspectives (JSSP) is dedicated to fostering inclusive and equitable access to academic publishing. In recognition of financial challenges faced by researchers in low-resource settings, JSSP offers a structured Article Processing Charge (APC) waiver program to support authors who may lack the means to cover publishing costs.
Eligibility Criteria
Authors may apply for a full or partial APC waiver if they meet the following conditions:
Eligible Countries
JSSP adheres to the World Bank’s current list of low-income and select lower-middle-income countries. Authors affiliated with institutions in the following countries are encouraged to apply for an APC waiver:
Afghanistan, Angola, Benin, Bhutan, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea-Bissau, Haiti, Honduras, Indonesia, Kenya, Kyrgyz Republic, Lao PDR, Lesotho, Liberia, Madagascar, Malawi, Mali, Mauritania, Mozambique, Nepal, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Solomon Islands, Somalia, South Sudan, Tajikistan, Tanzania, Togo, Uganda, Vanuatu, Yemen, Zambia, Zimbabwe.
